Not quite the stableman’s coop, the 17th century den has now been transformed into a modern country loft with hot water, underfloor heating and a fully outfitted kitchen —where a breakfast basket will be waiting for you as you unsaddle.

The living room has plenty of feather-filled cushions, to sink you into comfort and into the mood to tackle that book you’ve been longing to finish, or put some music on and be transported by that pulse that gets you going or, simply, enjoy a movie break in front of a roaring fire —we all love a bit of screen-time after a long touring day.

Up the stone stairs, tucked away next to the dressing room, a welcoming shower-room will get you ready to dive into the indulgent double bed that will gently snug you in to dreamland.

see you home soon!
